FAQ

Questions worth asking before you write

The things people usually want to know before starting a project with us. If yours isn't here, ask it directly.

Working together

What kind of work do you take on?

Web products, custom software, mobile apps, and AI features and automation built into real workflows. Each service has its own page describing the problems it solves and what gets built.

How does a project start?

You tell us what you are trying to build or fix through the contact form. We reply with an honest opinion, and if it is a fit, the scope is agreed in writing before any work begins.

Who will I actually be working with?

NxtFoldS is small on purpose. The person you talk to is the person writing the code, so there is no account manager standing between a decision and the build.

How will I know how the work is going?

Work is demonstrated weekly, and anything uncertain is raised early rather than absorbed quietly. You see the product while it is being built, not only at the end.

Cost & timeline

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope, so there is no fixed price list. The contact form asks for a budget range, from under ₹2L to ₹15L+, so the first conversation starts from what makes sense for you rather than a number pulled from nowhere.

How long does a project take?

That depends on scope too. The timeline is agreed alongside the scope, in writing, before work starts, so you know what is being delivered and when before you commit.

Do you work with early-stage startups?

Yes. Startups are one of the industries we build for, and a smaller, well-understood first version is usually the right place to begin: it outperforms a large, vague one.

Technology

What technology do you build with?

Mainly React, Next.js and TypeScript on the front end, Node.js and Python behind it, PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Vercel and Cloudflare. Chosen for maintainability and hiring reality, not novelty.

Can you add AI to a product we already have?

Yes, and that is often the better place to start. AI works best doing one specific job well inside an existing workflow: answering from your documents, extracting structured data, classifying, or drafting with guardrails.

Ownership & data

Who owns the code?

You do. Code, infrastructure and documentation belong to the client, always.

What happens to the information I send you?

It is stored so we can reply and scope the work. It is not sold or shared for marketing, and you can ask for it to be deleted at any time. The security page explains where it is kept and how it is protected.
